Robert A. Marsac is Of Counsel to Kerr, Russell and Weber, PLC, specializing in complex, multi-party and class action litigation. He has extensive experience in products liability, toxic tort, environmental, employment, pension, trade secret, general business and insurance-related matters including claims negotiation, counseling and coverage issues. Mr. Marsac frequently advises clients regarding business acquisitions and other strategic initiatives. Mr. Marsac has been involved in a variety of high profile disputes and controversies and most recently has been involved in business and trade association issues related to the constitutionality of laws which either benefit or restrict business or trade association members. Mr. Marsac frequently lectures on litigation prevention, case management and insurance-related topics. He received his Bachelor’s Degree from Oakland University and graduated with honors from the Wayne State University Law School, where his activities included receiving the Marx Scholarship, obtaining membership in the MacKenzie Honor Society, and participating on the Moot Court Board and the National Order of the Barristers. As a member of Wayne State’s National Moot Court Team, Mr. Marsac also participated in regional and national moot court competitions. While at Wayne State, Mr. Marsac served as student body president. Mr. Marsac is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, the Detroit Metropolitan Bar Association and the American Bar Association and is a Fellow of the Michigan State Bar Foundation. He is admitted to practice in the Sixth and Seventh Circuit Courts and before the United States Supreme Court. He is also an officer and trustee of the Detroit Science Center. |
